Position Description Codeware is seeking a full-time Software Developer to join our Sarasota-based Software Development Team. We have positions available at both the junior and intermediate levels. Position Responsibilities <ul><li>Applies the latest programming concepts and tools to further develop Codeware&rsquo;s internal systems and software products.</li><li>Assists with refactoring the established code base.</li><li>Performs application profiling to optimize performance.</li><li>Assists with other projects as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications (Junior Level)<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science or related field</li></ul>Qualifications (Intermediate Level)<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science (or related field) and 5 years work experience or a Master&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science (or related field) and 3 years work experience</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Programming Experience (code design, writing, testing, debugging and documenting).</li><li>Experience with programming in C++, C#, VB.Net., Javascript, Node.js</li><li>Experience with APEX (Salesforce APEX coding experience preferred)</li><li>Familiar with common design patterns.</li><li>Skilled at reading and comprehending established source code.</li><li>UI Design experience and/or knowledge of React is a plus.</li><li>Experience working with the following an asset:<ul><li>SVN (code repository)</li><li>Redmine (project management)</li><li>Salesforce development</li></ul></li></ul>Characteristics<ul><li>Able to work independently as well as part of a team.</li><li>Self-motivated and action-oriented.</li><li>Able to communicate project progress in a clear and concise manner.</li><li>Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.</li><li>Comfortable asking questions.</li><li>Good organizational and planning skills.</li><li>Committed to professional advancement through continuous learning.</li></ul>
