Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and results driven Practice Administrator to oversee the daily operations, financial management, and strategic planning of our orthopedic clinic. This role is essential in ensuring that our practice runs smoothly, efficiently, and effectively while providing high-quality patient care

Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage day-to-day clinic operations, including scheduling, staffing, and facility management, ensuring efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.
  • Responsible for financial performance including budgeting, revenue cycle management, and cost control.
  • Manage human resources functions including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of clinic staff. Supervise all administrative and clinical support staff.
  • Implement and maintain practice management systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for any operational issues or concerns within the practice.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and purchasing of medical and office supplies.
  • Monitor utilization management practices to ensure optimal resource allocation and patient care standards.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and clinic policies.
  • Collaborate with physicians to implement clinic goals, policies, and procedures; enforce policies and procedures.
  • Analyze clinic performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Support strategic initiatives to enhance clinic growth, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of healthcare management experience, preferably in an orthopedic or specialty clinic setting.
  • Strong knowledge of human resources practices and regulations related to healthcare staffing.
  • Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of medical practice operations, EMR systems, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of medical billing, specifically out of network billing.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff, patients, and stakeholders.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality patient care while maintaining operational excellence in the clinic environment.
  • Familiarity with utilization management principles and critical care protocols is preferred.
