Job Summary
We're a small business and this position will involve many different kinds of activities, both front and back office. We're looking for someone with 5-15 years of experience as a Jewelry Sales professional with strong administrative support capabilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of jewelry, jewelry design/manufacturing and product expertise to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to operate online systems efficiently. Social media experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with jewelry selection, sharing product knowledge, and facilitating sales transactions
- Support administrative functions including project management, processing sales and orders through POS systems, and maintaining customer emails/SMS
- Demonstrate and explain jewelry features, designs, and materials to help customers make informed purchasing decisions
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Hours M-F, closed all major holidays
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a passion for the jewelry industry
