Job Summary
We're looking for someone with 2-5 years of experience as a CNC Tool and Cutter Grinder Machinist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC grinding and tool and cutter grinding, with proficiency in Walter Tool Studio. This role requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Experience with Rollomatic Machines, Anca equipment, or similar CNC grinding equipment is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Operate and program CNC grinding machines to produce precision cutting tools and components
- Perform tool and cutter grinding operations using both manual and CNC techniques
- Utilize Walter Tool Studio software for tool design and programming
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and optimize grinding processes
- Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with new grinding technologies and techniques
