Job Summary
We're looking for someone with 4-6 years of experience as a Special Education Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in classroom management and curriculum development, with expertise in assessment and evaluation techniques. This role requires a compassionate educator who can create individualized learning plans and implement effective interventions for students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and abilities
- Collaborate with instructional coordinator, parents, and specialists to ensure comprehensive support for students with behavioral needs
- Utilize various assessment tools and data analysis techniques to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field, with appropriate state certification
- Demonstrated ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, families, and colleagues
