Job Summary
We're looking for someone with 5-7 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research, document preparation, and case management. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be a vital part of our US Legal Advocacy Team, supporting attorneys in various aspects of litigation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare legal documents such as motions, memoranda of law, and briefs while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local rules
- Conduct legal research, organize discovery materials, and maintain case file information in the litigation database
- Assist attorneys with case management, including preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, and monitoring case status via PACER
Qualifications
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally and make sound decisions under demanding conditions
- Proven track record of maintaining a heavy litigation caseload and meeting deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and ability to summarize complex legal information effectively
Requirements
- Paralegal degree or national certification or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of advanced experience performing paralegal duties
