Job Summary

We're looking for someone with 2-5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer. This is a developmental position with a fast-paced Electrical and Mechanical Engineering company that has limitless opportunities to learn in an apprentice-type environment with expected growth into a Senior Design and/or Project Engineering role.

Responsibilities
  • Design and configure schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
  • Develop and program control, drive, and power systems
  • Manage projects, including parts procurement, scheduling, and client communication
  • Design, test, and install industrial control panels, custom power distribution equipment, and coordinated systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and assist in system commissioning
  • Study power systems and design substations
  • Design and develop protection relays
Qualifications
  • Excellent technical skills, with the ability to implement technical concepts for both management and customers
  • Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality
  • Proactive approach to learning and a commitment to professional growth through meeting challenges and setting ambitious goals
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • Electrical Engineering experience2 - 5 years
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Willing to do up to 20% travel
Nice to Have
  • AutoCAD Electrical
  • PLC programming and PSA programming
  • Object-Oriented Programming in advanced languages
  • Industrial electrical installation practices
  • Knowledge of relevant FNPA and NEC standards
  • Field experience on project sites
