August Venture Talent, a startup-focused recruiting firm, is serving as talent advisor to the founder of a well-funded B2B software startup in Boise, Idaho. (Relocation assistance is available.)
We're looking for someone with exceptional experience as a Product Designer to join our client as the third team member. You'll work closely with the CEO to establish clear design architecture and UX direction for innovative meeting software. Your role will be crucial in laying the foundation for an elegant and beautiful product that transforms how the world approaches meetings.
The role is both strategic and tactical -- very hands-on yet you will own end-to-end design strategy.
- Create and implement a unified design system for user interface components across multiple platforms
- Design key product functionalities and prepare design specs for the engineering team
- Collaborate with the CEO to shape the product's functionality and overall user experience
Measurable Outcomes:
● Create design language
● Decide what level of WCAG compliance we want to achieve
● Build design system of user interface components
● Design MeetingOS functionality
● Design Dashboard / Intel Report functionality
● Help the team ship to beta test sites
● Help the team ship a high quality and polished launch release
● Define guidelines for engineers to contribute to the design system
- Proven ability to think strategically about product design and anticipate future product needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with the CEO and future team members
- Passion for creating innovative solutions that significantly improve user experiences
- Ability to grasp the future scope of the product and see where it might grow
