We're looking for someone with 3-4+ years of experience as a Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Professional Land Surveyor's License or have plans to take the exam and get licensed. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD as well as a strong understanding of field equipment operation. This position is open for both full and part time applicants.
- Draft surveys and designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Conduct research on State, County, and City records
- Perform construction staking and prepare ALTA and Topographic surveys
- Develop Certified Survey Maps, Preliminary and Final Plats, and Condominium Plats
- Write descriptions of land or airspace and prepare Elevation Certificates
- Supervise technicians and coordinate fieldwork and research
- Maintain and ensure the functionality of survey equipment
- Accurate and careful
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Capable of supervising and coordinating fieldwork and research
- Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Strong knowledge of land use and subdivision regulations for lot/site
- Skilled in geometric layout and design for subdivisions and certified survey maps
- AutoCAD
- Professional Land Surveyor OR soon to obtain license•3+ years
- Civil Technology Associate Degree or higher
- Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
