We’re looking for a Structural Engineer with experience in designing both steel and concrete structures. You'll be joining our growing team in Birmingham, working on challenging projects across the U.S. We need someone who can work independently, take the lead on projects, and interact with clients.
- Perform structural engineering design work for heavy industrial projects
- Take the lead role on projects from concept through to construction
- Interact with clients and occasionally travel to job sites to take field measurements
- Produce engineering design drawings
- Strong communication skills
- Structural analysis and design
- Ability and/or willingness to produce structural design
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently
- Willing to access elevated platforms with fall protection equipment
- AutoCAD
- Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Experience with steel and concrete
- Structural analysis/design software experience
- Structural Engineering Design
- Heavy Industrial experience
- Master’s Degree in Engineering
- PE License or can get one within a year
- Revit and Tekla software experience
- SE License
- Staad software experience
