Territory Account ExecutiveThe Flyover
We are seeking a driven and skilled Territory Account Executive to manage the sales process and generate revenue for our state-specific newsletter editions. You will be responsible for identifying new advertising partners and expanding client relationships within a designated territory. Ideally candidates live in one of the states we currently have a Flyover edition in. Texas and Florida are preferred as they were our first 2 states and currently the largest.
- Identify and secure new advertising opportunities to grow the client base within your assigned state editions.
- Conduct proactive outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone) to set meetings.
- Lead sales calls and presentations to effectively communicate the value propositions of each newsletter to prospective clients.
- Oversee insertion orders and scheduling to ensure the timely deployment of all sponsorships in your territory.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients through consistent communication and support.
- Target diverse industries and organizations within your territory for newsletter sponsorships.
- Stay informed on the media advertising landscape in your area to find new leads.
- Collaborate with sales operations and state writers to ensure high quality editions.
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, advertising, media, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in sales or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM software.
