Job Summary
We're looking for someone with experience as a Proposal Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and pursuing opportunities to present Pergravis products and services to Federal and commercial customers. This role requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate and coordinate internal teams and develop responses to various types of requests and proposals.
Responsibilities
- Search for new contracting opportunities using platforms like SAM.gov, GSA eBuy, NASA SEWP, MyFlorida.com, and other platforms.
- Analyze and qualify bidding opportunities with sales representatives using a qualification matrix
- Enter and track prospective customer data in CRM systems
- Review and analyze bid scopes, clarify requirements with customer contracting representatives, and collect relevant data
- Develop response strategies, schedules, and internal teams
- Solicit vendor quotes and determine resource allocation
- Formalize proposals using templates, standard content, and original material
- Submit bid responses and follow up with customers to confirm receipt
- Track win/loss ratios, analyze results, and prepare improvement reports
- Compile prospective customer lists for marketing campaigns and maintain customer relationships
Qualifications
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with Federal Government RFPs/RFIs and Sources Sought solicitations
- High degree of integrity
- Critical thinker and continuous learner
- Highly detail oriented and able to effectively present information to team and customers
- Ability to create and interpret technical and business documents
- Advanced reasoning skills for problem-solving and data analysis
- Well organized with strong interpersonal skills
- Capable of formulating meaningful AI prompts to facilitate research and content development
Requirements
- Adobe Acrobat
- Experience writing Federal proposals•2+ years
- Detail Oriented
- Experience with Sam.gov
- Bachelor's Degree
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or the ability to learn
- Experience with government bidding portals
- Proven ability to work within teams, build schedules, and collaborate with internal teams, partners, and subcontractors
- MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Experience with federal government contracts/propsals
- Experience with GSA
