Job Summary
We're looking for a proficient data analyst for election night 2024. The ideal candidate should be able to rapidly analyze incoming data and effectively summarize and communicate important findings to our team.
This is a temporary role that will last approximately two months.
Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis on thousands of lines of data live on election night
- Quickly analyze incoming data and communicate results of analysis to our team
- Compare data to similar data sets from the previous election
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis
- Capable of summarizing data quickly and communicating key details
- Capable of objective analysis
- Willing to take direction and adapt on the fly
Requirements
- Data Analysis•Weak - Strong
- Excel
- Google Suite
- Ability to analyze real time data quickly
Nice to Have
- Background in political science or statistics
- Experience analyzing data under a time constraint
- Experience with Reuters Edison Research data
- Graduate students welcome to apply
