Job Summary
We're looking for someone with 1-3 years of experience as a General Farm Worker. You'll be a key member of our multi-generational family farm, responsible for maintaining farm equipment, caring for cattle, and operating farm trucks. A clean driving record and strong problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Operate and ensure a variety of farm equipment is in working order, including self-propelled sprayers, planters, and combines
- Care for cattle, including feeding, handling, and ensuring their well-being
- Drive semi-trucks
Qualifications
- Excellent work ethic and willing to work long hours
- Experience with gentle handling of all ages of cattle
- Teachable and willing to work with team members
Requirements

- Mechanical Aptitude

- Clean Driving Record
- CDL License or willingness to obtain one

Engelland Farms is a fifth-generation, family-owned farming and ranching operation located near Sterling, Kansas. The farming operation involves both irrigated and dryland crops including: wheat, corn, sorghum, soybeans, alfalfa, sunflowers, etc. The ranching side of the business includes cow-calf, stocker/background and finishing cattle. At our heartland farm, we value the tradition of family farming, blending it with modern practices.
What We Offer
- Competitive wages of $21-$25/hr depending on experience
- 2 weeks of PTO
- No work on Sunday except for animal care
