Fastsigns of San Diego - Sports Arena is looking for a reliable and responsible Sign Fabricator with 1-3 years of experience in construction and handling power tools. You'll be a key player in our amazing team. Attention to detail and excellent time management skills are a must. Our mission is to provide our customers with the highest quality custom signage/installation and the best customer experience while maintaining a productive, safe, cohesive, happy work environment. We are looking for employees with integrity, honesty, and an exceptional work ethic.
- Following a work order to accurately prepare substrates, which may include cutting, cleaning, sanding, and/or laminating or painting
- Operating power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Ability to perform quality control measures pre and post construction and/or installation including reading and proofing for errors or unacceptable standards (bubbles, ragged edges, wrong output)
- Weeding, taping, and/or laminating vinyl
- Vinyl application to substrates
- Preparing banners after printing
- Some sign installation (window graphics, vehicle graphics, banners, etc.)
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Ability to lift and move 75+ pounds
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, and climb a ladder or stairs
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination
- Must have a clean driving record
