Operations ManagerFox Hardwood Lumber

The General Manager will oversee all non-manufacturing activities at Fox Hardwood Lumber's sister company, Timber Connection Systems (TCS). This role requires a strategic leader responsible for sales, marketing, procurement, catalog design, e-commerce initiatives, and fulfillment. The General Manager will also play a crucial role in determining production priorities and managing relationships with third-party manufacturers overseas.

• Sales Management: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth. Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners. Travel for sales, tradeshows, conventions, and meetings with third-party manufacturers.
• Marketing Leadership: Oversee marketing initiatives, including digital marketing, physical catalog design, and brand development. Coordinate marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Procurement: Manage the procurement process for custom hardware from China. Ensure timely and cost-effective ordering and delivery of products.
• E-commerce Development: Lead e-commerce initiatives to enhance online presence and sales. Oversee the fulfillment process to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Strategic Planning: Determine which brackets should be manufactured by the production department based on market demand and company strategy.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to align manufacturing priorities with sales and marketing goals. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Accounting, Marketing, Engineering, Agricultural Economics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with procurement processes and supplier management.
• Ability to travel frequently for business purposes.

Timber Connection Systems (TCS) is a Franklin, TN-based manufacturer of structural connectors for post-and-beam buildings. In addition to manufacturing, TCS imports custom hardware from third-party overseas manufacturers.
