Job Summary

We’re looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our finance and accounting efforts. This member of the executive leadership team will work closely with the CEO and Chairman, providing regular, timely information regarding the performance of the company. The CFO will work with the CEO to support our mission to be the leading firearms and outdoor lifestyle manufacturer in the US.


Hybrid work for candidates in the Provo or Salt Lake City area is available.

Responsibilities
  • Take full responsibility for all aspects of financial management and strategic planning and analysis, including decisions at both the company and department level
  • Lead the financial and reporting aspects of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business strategy and growth goals
  • Provide timely and accurate financial information and performance metrics to the CEO, Board of Directors, and executive leadership team
  • Oversee and direct daily finance and accounting functions, including treasury, accruals, and audits, and ensure compliance with financial and tax requirements
  • Build and develop a strong finance and accounting team
Qualifications
  • All applicants MUST be comfortable around firearms and ideally have a passion for the outdoors. This is a deeply rooted part of the Christensen Arms culture and brand, and it’s something that unites us as a team and company
  • Exceptional business acuity with solid knowledge of finance, accounting, GAAP principles, and employee management
  • Able to manage stress and adapt to changing business needs
  • Experience with operations, mergers, acquisitions, and capital-raising activities for various forms of equity and debt instruments
  • Confident decision-maker with ability to interface with members of the Board on financial performance, corporate strategy, and policy decisions
