The Role

The Senior Salesforce Administrator will partner with the Information Technology team to define, implement, and drive best practices for improving quality solutions to meet organization needs. The Administrator will assist the growth of our Salesforce platform and work closely with our business units to increase adoption and improved process. The Administrator will work closely with functional leaders, organization units, and subject matter experts to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes. This role will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvements of our entire CRM platform.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serves as a Salesforce evangelist within the organization; suggests how the current application can be enhanced to improve business processes and communicates that in writing and presentation
  • Completes regular internal system audits, assists with security projects, and prepares for quarterly releases by staying up to date on the platform’s new tools and capabilities
  • Enhances Salesforce data security and change management processes to better serve the business
  • Works with developers to integrate Salesforce data into other internal systems and/or data from other systems into Salesforce
  • Responsible for daily assignments with changes to custom fields, validation rules, workflow rules, process builders, and lightning flow.
  • Assists with development in Salesforce Lightning and Lightning migrations
  • Solves technical issues and quickly creates and implements new functionality to solve the problems while also developing and implementing approved enhancements
  • Provides internal support for departments on the Salesforce platform in Production and Sandbox instances.
  • Creates, updates, and maintains user profiles, permission sets, and role hierarchy.
  • Monitors the health of our Salesforce organization (licenses, packages, etc.)
  • Contributes to the exercise and expression of the Ministry’s Christian beliefs
  • All other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field with 3-5 years of Salesforce Administration experience or combination of education and experience required
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM201) required
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification (ADM211) preferred
  • Experience with enterprise-scale applications and operational support of systems
  • Experience with software development process/lifecycle
  • Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA)
  • Experience in a healthcare-related field or financial field preferred
