Our team is looking for a self-motivated and energetic individual to be a Sales Route Driver. You would be a vital link between Ulrich Meat Market and our valued customers. As our Sales Route Driver you will be responsible for delivering products efficiently, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries of our products in grocery and convenience stores as well as other locations throughout designated routes. This position offers growth opportunities, as your enthusiasm and organizational skills will drive success in sales, and in your income as pay is based on commission. We will provide the tools, products and customers so you can take ownership of your part of the Ulrich business. Training will be provided for this position, we will give you the tools necessary to get the job done.
Saturday availability required.

• Safely operate commercial vehicles along routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations

• Deliver products to various retail locations or customer sites, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and proper handling of goods

• Engage with customers professionally to answer questions, promote additional products through upselling, and build lasting relationships

• Maintain detailed delivery logs, route sheets, and inventory records to ensure accuracy and accountability

• Conduct merchandising activities by organizing product displays and ensuring proper placement on shelves or in storage areas

• Organize daily routes efficiently using route planning tools, optimizing delivery times and minimizing delays

• Manage vehicle maintenance and inventory levels while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations

• Strong math skills for calculating pricing, quantities, and measurements accurately

• Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally

• Experience in sales or upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities during deliveries

• Familiarity with route driving, merchandising, and inventory management processes

• Organizational skills to plan routes effectively and manage delivery schedules efficiently

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to operate delivery vehicles safely in various weather conditions.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple stops.

• Physical capability to lift and move products regularly, with flexibility to work early morning hours and adapt to changing route demands.
