Job Summary

Tea Party Patriots Action is seeking a highly organized, politically savvy, and results-driven Social Media and Marketing Manager to oversee the daily execution of social media content across organizational and leadership brands, including Tea Party Patriots Action and Jenny Beth Martin. This role is responsible for publishing, engagement, coordination, and real-time responsiveness across platforms in a fast-paced media environment.

This position is ideal for a self-starter who understands political communications, digital media, and how social platforms support the growth of podcasts, daily shows, and issue advocacy campaigns.

FLSA Status: Exempt

Compensation: $65,000–$90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Social Media Execution & Publishing

  • Schedule and publish daily content across X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Rumble, and other platforms as needed

  • Manage posting calendars for multiple brands with distinct voices

  • Write platform-optimized captions and post copy aligned with approved messaging

Engagement & Monitoring

  • Monitor replies, comments, and trending topics across owned accounts

  • Engage with supporters and manage comment moderation

  • Flag breaking news and rapid-response opportunities

Podcast & Show Promotion

  • Execute promotion strategy for The Jenny Beth Show and other recurring shows

  • Coordinate posting of short-form clips, episode promos, and evergreen content

  • Support audience growth, subscriber conversion, and listener funnel work

Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate closely with video, graphics, and leadership teams

  • Track engagement metrics and provide regular performance updates

  • Support podcast episode launches and clip distribution strategies

Note: Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Political Science, Marketing, or a related field preferred; or equivalent professional experience.

  • Ability to identify engagement opportunities, anticipate messaging risks, and respond effectively to real-time developments.

  • Proficiency with social media platforms, scheduling tools, analytics dashboards, and collaboration tools such as Google Drive, Slack, and project management software.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with occasional evening or weekend work tied to live shows or breaking news.

Requirements
  • Strong copywriting under pressure, with the ability to write in multiple distinct brand voices (organizational vs. leadership/personal)
  • Deep working knowledge of X, YouTube, Rumble, Facebook, and Instagram — not just usage, but understanding of what drives reach and engagement on each platform
  • Demonstrated commitment to Tea Party Patriots Action's mission and values
  • Comfort reading native analytics dashboards and translating data into action
  • Sharp news instincts and familiarity with the conservative media ecosystem
  • Hands-on experience growing or promoting a podcast, video show, or recurring media property
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills; calendar discipline across multiple brands
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools, analytics dashboards, and collaboration tools (Google Drive, Slack, project management software)
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends tied to live shows or breaking news
  • Sound public judgment and discretion — you will represent leadership brands directly

  • Audience growth. Grow combined follower and subscriber count across primary platforms (X, YouTube, Rumble, Facebook, Instagram) by 20% within 12 months, with YouTube subscribers growing by 35-50% to support podcast distribution goals.

  • Publishing reliability. Maintain a 98%+ on-time publishing rate across all scheduled content and brands, with zero missed launches for Jenny Beth Show episode releases.

  • Engagement lift. Increase average engagement rate (likes, comments, shares, saves per post) by 15-30% over baseline within 6 months, measured per platform.

  • Podcast and show conversion. Drive a 20% lift in podcast downloads and YouTube watch-time attributable to social by month 9 through clip strategy, episode promos, and audience funnel design.

  • Rapid response. Deploy approved rapid-response content within 60 minutes of qualifying breaking news events, hitting this turnaround on 80-90%+ of opportunities.

  • Reporting cadence. Deliver a weekly performance dashboard and monthly strategic review to the Executive Director on schedule, with zero missed reports.

  • Cross-team integration. Within 90 days, establish a working rhythm with video, graphics, and production teams such that clip distribution from each Jenny Beth Show episode is live across all platforms within 24 hours of episode publication.
