Policy AssociateInnovation Council Action Inc.
We're looking for someone with 2-5 years of experience as a Policy Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in policy analysis and research methods, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders. This role requires excellent critical thinking skills to evaluate complex policy issues and strong communication abilities to convey findings clearly to different audiences.
Conduct research on AI policies related to innovation, regulations, global markets, energy, trade deficits, job creation, manufacturing, taxes, infrastructure, competition, and open-source.
Assist in drafting policy briefs, reports, and advocacy materials.
Monitor developments in AI technology and their policy implications.
Support coalition-building and stakeholder engagement.
Collaborate with legislative and communications teams on campaigns.
Ensure work aligns with ICAI's mission of nonpartisan, ethical advocacy.
Bachelor's degree in public policy, political science, or related field Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex topics clearly Demonstrated interest in public policy and government affairs
