Senior Tax PreparerWaldman & Artime CPA
Waldman and Artime CPA is seeking a Senior Tax Preparer to aid in the efficient, accurate, and timely preparation of clients' tax returns. This person will support a small but growing team of CPAs and tax professionals by independently handling 1040, 1065, and 1120 tax forms. We are seeking someone disciplined and honest to join our team remotely.
Interface directly with clients
Prepare complex business and individual tax returns (1040s, 1065s, 1120s)
Prepare required annual business filings such as annual reports and other state-level filings
Identify applicable deductions, credits, and elections to minimize tax liability
Prepare supporting tax schedules
Possess a complete knowledge of the firm’s philosophy and its opinions on tax matters
Maintain a knowledge of general economic and political trends of possible tax and other
legislation that can affect the business climate
Update and maintain personal task lists and client workflows CRM (TaxDome)
Friendly and able to present to clients in a professional manner
Ability and desire to continually improve accounting and tax knowledge
Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to problem solve, strong critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Interest in examining the firm's processes for better efficiency and effectiveness
Highly organized
Is honest, disciplined, and has high integrity
- Experience preparing tax returns (1040s, 1065s, 1120s)•3+ years
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations•Excellent - Strong
- Tax preparation software experience•1+ years
- CPA License
- Experience using UltraTax•1 - 3 years
- Experience using TaxDome CRM•1 - 3 years

Competitive salary of $80k-$110k DOE
