• Design and typeset book interiors using professional layout tools (primarily Adobe InDesign), with a focus on Math and English textbook layout.

• Apply consistent typography, spacing, and formatting across chapters and sections.

• Creatively integrate instructional elements such as tables, callouts, charts, and other instructional diagrams or illustrations.

• Ensure layouts prioritize readability, clarity, and logical structure, while providing an engaging experience for young readers.

• Prepare print-ready files that meet production specifications.

• Collaborate with content developers and editors and initial designs and to implement revisions and maintain high-quality layouts.

• Perform other design and production duties as needed to support the publishing team.

• Experience in book interior design and typesetting (portfolio required).

• Experience with design of technical material (such as Math and English curriculum) strongly preferred.

• Experience with efficiently designing large projects.

• Excellent attention to detail and typography.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

• Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop
