Job Seekers: Do Yourself a Favor

Last Friday I asked my recruiter team:

“What is one interview mistake you wish you could eliminate tomorrow?”

Their answer was unanimous: “When a candidate in an interview doesn't know the job and/or company they applied to.”

Job seekers: PLEASE do yourself a favor. Do your homework.

If you don't know what job you're applying to, the whole interview will be spent figuring out if you even want the job, instead of finding out if you are the right person to take it.

That wasted time and lack of effort drastically drops your chances of an offer.
