The Society of Gilbert Keith Chesterton is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established as a canonically recognized private association of the Christian faithful in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. Our mission is to evangelize through education, inspiring people to live joyful, holy lives, with G.K. Chesterton as a model of lay spirituality. We advance this mission through conferences, publications, and local societies that cultivate serious engagement with Chesterton’s thought and the Catholic intellectual tradition.
The Chesterton Schools Network (CSN) is leading a significant expansion of Catholic secondary education, forming a new generation of joyful leaders and saints to build up the Kingdom of God and advance the Culture of Life. The CSN has grown to over 70 schools, serving more than 3,300 students in 76 dioceses, 36 states, and multiple countries, with 30 additional schools preparing to open. The CSN was awarded the 2025 $1 million Yass Prize, one of the nation’s most prestigious honors for educational innovation.
