Discover more at: https://www.youtube.com/@MaddoxTransformer https://www.maddox.com/ About Maddox + You As a member of our Customer Success Operations team, you will be a primary stakeholder for our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Your focus will be on entering new sales orders into the ERP and updating them throughout their life cycle. Your work ensures that our customers receive accurate order confirmations, the correct products, and that our internal teams have the accurate, timely data they need to perform their job functions. Attention to detail and organizational skills are paramount in this role. You will also be responsible for answering general customer service phone calls and directing callers to the appropriate parties to resolve their issues. This position is one of Maddox’s oldest commercial positions, with a proven playbook and a strong team, but we are growing rapidly, so adaptability is critical in this role. More About You: You are technically savvy with modern platforms (Google Suites, etc). If you prefer a more old-school approach (i.e., stacks of sticky notes), you will struggle in this role. You have keen attention to detail and can perform recurring tasks accurately and precisely, particularly regarding data entry. You are autonomous and capable of managing your own time and workflows. You are comfortable with phone communication and able to think quickly on your feet during conversations. You are capable of balancing multiple tasks without becoming overwhelmed. You welcome constructive feedback to help you develop in your role. Basics Full-time. The schedule is generally 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Drug-free workplace. Comprehensive Full-Time Benefits, including: 3 Weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) (and an additional week for managers, and an additional week after 5 years). Health & Wellness: Can be taken as traditional insurance, or as cash in lieu of benefits. Benefit amounts vary based on age, family status, and eligibility, but as an example, in most circumstances, an employee with a spouse and 3 kids, would be eligible for $19,200 / year or more. Paid paternity/maternity leave 401k with 100% match up to 8% of wages. Paid holidays, marriage and family gifts to celebrate significant life events, and other reimbursements and voluntary benefits and coverages (such as Vision, Dental, Short Term Disability, Additional Life Insurance, Accident, etc), as eligible. Skills & Experience Experience with ERP systems is great, but not required. If you are aligned with our Core Values and have a teachable attitude, you are a candidate for this position. Pro Tip : We get a LOT of applicants, so if you want to stand out, write a few sentences telling us what stood out to you, and why you think you'd thrive in this particular opportunity. Compensation & Benefits Pay range = (wages + bonus) Comprehensive full-time benefits package averaging $20,000+ per year (amount varies based on age, family size, and eligibility), including: Health & wellness benefits (insurance or cash-in-lieu options) Paid maternity and paternity leave 401(k) with 100% match up to 8% of wages Paid holidays, PTO, and family-life gifts Vision, dental, disability, life insurance, and other voluntary benefits Annual Range $64,400 — $69,600 USD

About Maddox Maddox is the nation’s leading provider of electrical transformers to the commercial and industrial market, with primary locations in South Carolina, Washington State, Texas, Idaho, and Ohio. We have been recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest-growing companies in America for the past 8 years and counting. We build real things, solve real problems, and expect professionalism, competence, and integrity from our team. Discover more at: https://www.youtube.com/@MaddoxTransformer https://www.maddox.com/ About Maddox + You: You will be an integrated part of a small, but powerful, sales team. You will be using our established sales processes to help commercial and industrial end-users, electrical contractors, and resellers of industrial electrical equipment purchase the right transformer for their project or application. Reactively, you will be responding to customer requests, understanding their needs, and proposing technical and commercial solutions in a timely manner. You need to be great at solving technical and commercial problems in a fast-paced, data-driven workflow. Proactively, you will be following up with existing clients or maintaining communication with our network of industry contacts; this is not a cold-calling or hard-selling environment. It's an inside sales role ideally suited to a technically-minded, people-person who excels at providing a high-level of customer service to contractors, engineers, purchasing agents, and industrial/commercial end users. More about You: You enjoy interacting with people and solving technical and commercial problems. Your clients will be located all across the country, so you need to make a great impression with your communication skills via phone and email. You demonstrate fantastic written communication. You will need to maintain many email conversations each day. If your grammar is poor, or you are slow at writing emails, you will struggle in this role. You are focused and able to maintain good attention to detail. You are savvy with modern software. If you prefer an "old school" (pile of handwritten notes) workflow, you are not a fit for this role. You prefer a healthy team vs. operating as a lone wolf. Skills & Experience: We value experience, so if you have 20+ years of related experience, that's great! We're also very good at training new recruits, and are willing to invest in a select number of promising early-career candidates with the right attitude and ambition. Account Executive - Houston, Texas

Delta Defense, LLC - Aug 30, 2026
Location-based
Full-time
$70K/yr
Salary
Houston, TX
Account Executive (Outside Sales) Delta Defense / U.S. Concealed Carry Association — hiring for Houston, Texas We protect the protectors. If you're looking for a 9-to-5, a desk, or a quota spreadsheet to hide behind, this isn't that. This is a calling — not a sales job. At Delta Defense , we stand for something bigger than a product. We believe the inalienable right to self-defense is fundamental to freedom. We believe in personal responsibility, training, and protecting the people we love. And we exist for the millions of responsible American gun owners — and those who may one day legally defend themselves — who take that responsibility seriously. Delta Defense is the private company behind the marketing, operations, and customer service of the U.S. Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) — an organization dedicated to safeguarding the life, freedom, and finances of responsibly armed Americans. As an Outside Sales Account Executive, you carry that mission into every parking lot, range, retailer, and training room you step into. The reality of this role Most days, you won't be walking into a friendly pipeline. You'll stand up at the end of a concealed carry class. In front of a room of strangers who just spent eight hours learning to carry a firearm responsibly — and who are tired, skeptical, and not sure why they should listen to you. You'll show up cold at a range on a Saturday morning. You'll walk into a retailer whose owner has seen plenty of reps before you and isn't easily impressed. And your job is to earn the right to be heard before you ever earn the sale. That's what makes this role different. It's face-to-face, relationship-driven, and credibility-first — especially in front of firearms instructors, range owners, and everyday Americans who care deeply about self-defense and personal freedom. If you're a responsible gun owner who enjoys being at the range, talking gear and training, and helping others protect themselves, you'll have instant rapport and authenticity. If you're new to the space but eager to learn the community, be honest about that too — people here respect humility far more than a memorized pitch. What the best AEs on this team actually sound like Our top AEs don't sound like sales reps. They sound like: The instructor's peer — because they've sat in the class themselves, cleaned the same gun, and earned the instructor's trust before ever pitching. The neighbor at the range — the one who answers a real question plainly, without turning every conversation into a close. The educator — walking a first-time carrier through “what happens if…” in a way that respects their intelligence and their concern. The trusted advisor — the one instructors refer their students to, because they've seen how you handle people. The quiet closer — who knows when to stop talking and let the member decide. The solution fits the person, not just the pipeline. They didn't jump to the answer. They acknowledged what was going on. They took time to discover what mattered. They made the person feel heard. Then they influenced the outcome — guiding, simplifying, and building confidence. That's not a script. That's how great AEs operate. And that's the bar. Territory, Schedule & Travel Current Opening in Houston, Texas This role requires evenings and weekends , aligned with when range classes actually run and retail activity is alive. You'll have flexibility during the day — but not a traditional 9–5. Travel: approximately 70% within your territory. Home every night, with minimal exceptions.
