Position Summary:
The Investment Casting Engineer will be part of our Investment Casting Foundry team that continuously seeks to improve Investment casting components and processes that meet or exceed SQDC goals. The Investment Casting Engineer is the primary technical support to our manufacturing team, driving continuous improvement initiatives in our lean manufacturing environment. This position requires a motivated self-starter who does not require daily direction.
Major Responsibilities:
- Apply Statistical Process Control, Continuous Improvement, and Lean Manufacturing principles to improve business performance
- S: Process Safety
- Q: Scrap yields
- D: Mold Yields
- C: Productivity
- Collaborate cross-functionally to create and/or improve component designs, processes, tooling, gaging, and quality plans
- Support manufacturing in technical capacities as necessary
Required Qualifications:
- BS in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
- 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in Investment Casting process development, manufacturing, and/or related experience
- Knowledge of Statistical Quality Control Tools, PFMEA, Kaizen
- Strong communication proficiency, organized, detailed
- CAD experience
- Lean Manufacturing Experience
- Root Cause Analysis

Must be able to pass a drug and background screen successfully.
