About the Role:

Reporting to the VP of Supply Chain Fulfillment Operations, the RFC Operations Training Manager is responsible for leading operational warehouse training programs to ensure that employees are well prepared to meet safety, productivity and quality expectations across our network of Regional Fulfillment Centers. Responsibilities include assessing warehouse training needs inclusive of both new hire onboarding and development as well as ongoing cross-training of warehouse associates. In partnership with our Regional Fulfillment Center leadership teams this individual will be responsible for the development and implementation of training materials, executing training programs to optimize RFC performance and establishing systems and processes to measure the success of our training programs.    

Responsibilities Include:

  • Identify and assess current and future training needs through job analysis, review of existing training materials and results and consultation with RFC leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with RFC leadership, HR and Safety teams to design and develop comprehensive training programs, including onboarding and job-specific skills training
  • Collaborate with RFC leadership, HR and Safety teams to ensure training content is accurate and aligns with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on a variety of topics, including warehouse operations, equipment usage, workplace safety, and quality standards.
  • Utilize a variety of training methods, including classroom instruction, hands-on training, virtual training, and e-learning.
  • Adapt training techniques to fit the learning styles of diverse employee groups.
  • Conduct regular refresher training to keep employees updated on safety protocols and changes in operational procedures.
  • Partner with RFC leadership teams to define trainer requirements and criteria and process for selecting trainers at our RFC sites
  • Develop and conduct “train-the-trainer” training sessions and partner with RFC leadership teams to assess effectiveness of individual trainers
  • Measure the effectiveness of training programs by tracking employee performance and gathering feedback.
  • Identify gaps in training content and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to ensure training programs remain relevant and impactful.
  • Maintain accurate records of all training activities, attendance, and certification requirements.
  • Prepare reports for management to highlight training progress, compliance status, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure training materials are regularly updated and accessible to all employees.
  • Work closely with RFC leadership, HR, and Safety teams to align training initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns related to training programs.
  • 15-20% travel requirement

About The Pay:

  • Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 Annually

About You:

  • Minimum 5 years warehouse operations experience preferably in a leadership role including knowledge of equipment use, safety protocols, and workflow processes.
  • 3-5 years of experience in training or workforce development within a distribution or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of training methods and techniques, including hands-on training, e-learning, and instructor-led training.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • WMS experience preferred
  • Familiarity with OSHA and other regulatory requirements in warehouse or distribution settings.
