ATD creates word-class technologies by:
- Working with the business units to set process targets, including transistor and passive device performance objectives
- Working with manufacturing to drive process and material development
- Ensuring technologies meet cost, performance, reliability, and yield objectives
Responsibilities include:
- Establish targets and own process, passive, and transistor development
- Establish unit process and process integration strategies to meet objectives
- Support the development and ramp by executing process experiments (SWRs)
- Model and collect / analyze device and process yield data
- Working with design and system, productization, reliability and manufacturing to ensure the process technologies meets objectives
The person performing this role must be capable to plan effectively, drive schedules, meet critical deadlines on multiple tasks in parallel, lead technical discussions in their area of expertise, and work effectively across organizational boundaries. They must be able to clearly communicate project status and actions. Additionally, they must be able to interface with multiple organizations and work well on a diverse team to accomplish goals.
Minimum requirements:
- Masters in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
- 5 + years of related experience in semiconductor device physics and semiconductor process development
Preferred qualifications:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
- 5+ years of related experience in semiconductor industry
- Experience in SiGe Bipolar device physics and the development of BiCMOS processes
- Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
