Public Relations Account Manger ProActive Strategies

ProActive Strategies is looking for a driven, sharp, and motivated Account Manager to join our fast-paced strategic communications team. If you're passionate about politics, media, and the battle of ideas, this is your chance to help shape narratives, build brands, and drive impact on the front lines of today's most consequential political and policy debates.

This role is ideal for a young professional with at least one year of experience in political communications, public relations, or media — and a hunger to learn, grow, and make a difference. A background in conservative politics or campaign work is a strong plus.

Remote / Washington, D.C., preferred

• Collaborate with senior strategists to develop and execute creative, high-impact PR and digital campaigns.

• Support accounts with research, messaging, and rapid-response communications.

• Draft compelling press materials, talking points, and social content that shape public opinion.

• Track media coverage, prepare client reports, and identify proactive opportunities to add value.

• Manage timelines and deliverables to ensure flawless execution across client projects.

• 1–3 years of experience in public relations, political communications, media relations, or campaigns.

• A strong writer and communicator who can move fast and think strategically.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills — thrives in a deadline-driven environment.

• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with sharp attention to detail.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva (bonus if you’re comfortable with media tracking tools).
