The Dean of the Upper School provides academic, spiritual, and cultural leadership for students and faculty in grades 5–12. The Dean supports the Headmaster by overseeing the daily operations of the Upper School, fostering a community marked by truth, beauty, and goodness, and ensuring that all teaching and discipline reflect the gospel of Jesus Christ and the mission of Bradford Academy.

A mature, joyful, and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Membership in good standing at an evangelical church whose teachings are consistent with the school’s Statement of Faith.
Hold to an orthodox and historic biblical understanding of contemporary issues (including young earth creationism).
A clear calling to Christian education and an understanding of the principles of classical learning.
Demonstrated ability in leadership, organization, and employee development.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills marked by humility, wisdom, and discernment.
Master’s degree or higher, with substantial classroom teaching experience and prior administrative leadership preferred.
