The Head of School is the chief executive of the school and, in partnership with the school board, it is this person’s responsibility to inspire, lead, and direct all phases of the school’s operations, programs, budget, personnel, and environment in accordance with the direction and school policies.

• Lead with bold, biblical conviction: Model and uphold a distinctly Christian worldview rooted in Scripture; defend God’s design for family, church, and society with courage.

• Equip for spiritual strength: Foster proactive, “offensive” faith among students, staff, and families; train them to live and witness for Christ.

• Promote intellectual and moral integrity: Champion Christian apologetics; uphold biblical accountability for all; lead with humility, submission, and discernment.

• Model hands-on, principle-driven leadership: Stay involved in daily school operations; make decisions based on biblical truth, not pragmatism.

• Cultivate a covenantal community: Build strong, grace-filled relationships; resolve conflicts biblically; communicate with wisdom and patience.

• Demonstrate personal and institutional commitment: Prioritize the school’s ministry; maintain Christian professionalism; support classical education; enroll one’s own children in the academy.

• Believe in and actively support the school’s statement of faith

• Actively participate in a local Bible-believing church

• Master’s degree from an accredited postsecondary institution

• Have classroom teaching experience

• Mastery of apologetics and Christian teaching

The mission of Cornerstone Christian Academy is to provide an excellent classical and college preparatory education that teaches students how to think, learn and live consistently with Biblical principles acknowledging God as the foundation of all knowledge and truth. The HOS is to accomplish the deliverables as set forth in partnership with the Board of Directions in the strategic plan.
