Develop support documents for radar systems which include block diagrams, test procedures and ICD’s (Interface Control Documents)
Lead wiring process and coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and technicians to ensure harnesses are producible, testable, and delivered on schedule.
Select military-grade components for wire harness designs such as military grade connectors (D38999, M24308), military grade wires (M22759, M16878, M27500), and more
Work with cross-functional teams on prototyping, system integration, packaging, and design verification
Create detailed wire harness documentation including schematics, assembly drawings, and bill of materials in accordance with IPC-620 standards
Perform load analysis to size conductors and electrical components, while accounting for other de-rating factors
Must have a working knowledge of prototyping, design, schematics, validation testing and integration of complex electro-mechanical systems
Strong understanding of wire harness design
Familiar with reading schematics and block diagrams
