We are looking to fill 2 part-time positions, primarily data-entry/data-processing roles with some background sales support. These positions start at 15-20 hrs per week. Both offer the potential for more hours. We'd like to fill at least 1 of these opening with someone looking to grow with us.

These are LONG-TERM, remote (work from home) positions with room for growth and additional responsibilities. MARN has a strong promote-from-within culture; we are looking to establish a relationship as much as we are looking to fill our current job openings.

REQUIRED:

Attention to detail, accuracy, and weekday availability ARE A MUST - as is a sense of humor. Good data entry & phone skills along with above-average reading/writing/comprehension skills are necessary to do this job. So is a desire to learn (aka curiosity) and a willingness to "play detective” to solve problems and/or figure out the task at hand. This job requires the ability to correctly interpret other people's notes and directions.

NOTE: To be considered, interested applicants must be available to work their daily hours Monday to Friday within the 8am-5pm window (eastern time.)

Applicants must have an up-to-date computer and maintain active anti-virus software.

Applicants must be familiar with email, Word, Excel as well as accessing platforms and information online.

We provide hands-on training; we know there's a learning curve.

A typical day includes entering information (such as quote requests, new companies/contacts, incoming purchase-orders, etc.) into our database IN REAL TIME. Keeping the information current (updating job titles, quote/shipment statuses, etc.) is part of this job, along with sending emails and/or calling our manufacturers during normal business hours (M-F 8am-5pm eastern time.)

MARN, Inc. (www.marninc.com) is a woman-owned manufacturers' sales representative firm. We are based in Connecticut, and our territory includes New England and Pennsylvania. While the positions are remote, we need someone who resides (lives) within our sales territory to provide occasional in-person support at local functions (bi-annual trade shows, site visits, etc.)
