Wage: $28–$30 per hour, based on experience, with the opportunity for an increase following the probationary period and a successful performance review.
Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper with a strong understanding of financial statements (cash and accrual). The ideal candidate will evaluate QuickBooks data of small businesses using our internal tools to identify potential errors, confirm accuracy, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role requires the ability to manage multiple clients efficiently while delegating tasks to team members to ensure smooth workflow and client satisfaction.
Training & Development
We will provide comprehensive training on how to perform the role effectively and how to use our internal tools. While prior QuickBooks experience is preferred, we are committed to equipping the right candidate with the knowledge and processes needed to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
Review client QuickBooks data for financial accuracy, compliance, and error identification.
Reconcile accounts and financial statements, ensuring consistency with tax returns.
Analyze and identify discrepancies in reports (balance sheets, income statements, payroll, sales tax, etc.).
Provide actionable recommendations and collaborate with clients and team members to resolve discrepancies.
Manage multiple client accounts efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Delegate tasks effectively and oversee team members' progress.
Apply QuickBooks knowledge to other accounting and ERP software as needed.

This role includes a busy season from December through February, which may require overtime work. Summer months offer greater flexibility.
