Portland Property Manager Project 3 mos. $1,100
This is a good opportunity for someone in Portland, Oregon, who would like to work part-time as a side gig or side hustle for three months, and earn $1,100 for the project. With Christmas coming up, it’s something to think about.
The ideal candidate will have proven skills in property management, tenant relations, and maintenance coordination. This 3-month role offers $1,100 and requires strong communication and problem-solving abilities. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and proactive in addressing property management challenges.
We are looking for a proactive and responsible person to help us complete the transition, as our local property manager retires.
The property manager has been live-in. His apartment has doubled as the office. Upon his moving out, we are converting his office to a regular apartment.
We would like to engage you for three months, to help him take care of two steps in
the process for us.
1. Move the furniture out of the unit, and into our storage unit.
2. Conduct and complete the tenant turnover for the new in-coming tenant, in cooperation with the retiring property manager on location and the staff at headquarters.
For the tenant turnover, we will run the advertising, screening, and
background checks from headquarters. You will be responsible for staging,
photos, viewings & tours, any open houses, and the closing. You will coordinate with the retiring property manager. Details will be provided in your interview.
This short-term contract is limited in time and scope to these two
concrete tasks, so you will receive a flat fee for that. (We will have
a meeting or two to go over all the details, of course, and you will coordinate with us throughout.)
After that, we will both have a sense of working together. If mutually desired, there may be the possibility to negotiate a longer-term contract, depending on the circumstances. We currently have a couple of open part-time positions, so there is the possibility of continuing part-time work, going forward.
Before engaging you, we will ask you to submit to a background check. (We will pay the fee.) You will need several good references, who are ready to vouch for you at length.
