We are hiring a Purchasing Manager to be responsible for purchasing parts and assemblies for manufacturing and ensuring adequate inventory of materials and products. The ideal candidate loves speaking with vendors and demonstrates the ability to make strategic decisions based on manufacturing acumen.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective acquisition of materials and services while maintaining quality standards

Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and optimal pricing

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs and prevent stockouts or overstock situations

Qualifications

Experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and identify cost-saving opportunities
