We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our Managed IT team.  The Systems Engineer will be responsible for handling day-to-day user requests and tickets for an assigned client base.  This position requires a technician who can communicate complex ideas in simple, everyday terms.

Must-haves

·        Deep experience implementing, troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft platforms such as Azure, SharePoint, Teams, Office 365, Active Directory, and all current flavors of Windows OS

·        Increasing responsibilities in an IT support/administration roll

·        Strong sense of ownership and responsibility

·        Stellar time management skills

·        Experience independently resolving and properly documenting IT service tickets – from open to close

·        Ability and confidence to build trust and credibility with every client interaction

·        Working knowledge of networking principles, what they mean, and how they interact (TCPIP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, SNMP, etc...)

·        Understanding of Cybersecurity practices and implementation

·        Apple, Mac OS, and iOS troubleshooting experience

·        Ability to identify client best-fit backup, disaster and recovery solution

·        Ability to support clients remotely and when needed on-site in the Bay Area

 

Preferred Attributes

·        Ability to communicate with teammates, leadership and clients openly and effectively

·        Microsoft Certifications a plus!

·        A keen awareness of how technology impacts business

·        The desire to work as part of a team

·        Experience working with Christian non-profit organizations

·        Critical thinking and logical troubleshooting experience are a must

·        An empathetic approach to solving customer problems

·        Proven ability and motivation to learn independently

·        Professional confidence and a passion for solving problems

·        An aptitude towards service

·        Openness to feedback

·        A focus on finding proper long-term solutions to technical issues

·        The ability to own technical problems and see them through to resolution
