We are seeking a skilled and passionate Copywriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strong storyteller who can write persuasive, clear, and impactful copy that motivates supporters to take action—whether that means donating, attending an event, watching our latest media, or engaging with our online community. The ideal candidate will have strong SEO knowledge and social media marketing expertise to help drive engagement and conversions. You'll need exceptional creativity and communication skills to craft messages that resonate with our target audience.
Write compelling email campaigns, including:
Crafting emails targeted at potential donors
Media updates (video launches, press releases, etc.)
Event announcements and invitations
Commentary from our organization on major political happenings
Draft engaging social media posts to:
Promote fundraising and donor engagement
Share organizational updates and media
Foster community interaction and discussion
Collaborate with leadership, fundraising, and media teams to align messaging with organizational goals
Create engaging copy for websites and other marketing materials that align with brand voice and drive user action
Optimize content for search engines and social media platforms to increase visibility and engagement metrics
Proven experience in copywriting, preferably in political, advocacy, or non-profit sectors
Strong understanding of conservative values and ability to communicate them effectively
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with sharp attention to detail
Ability to write across formats—emails, social media, press releases, talking points, etc.
Self-starter who can work independently and meet deadlines
Experience with digital fundraising, political campaigns, or donor communication is a plus

This is both a salaried and percentage-based compensation structure, where in addition to your base pay additional compensation will be directly tied to donations raised through your work. [Base salary and percentages will be discussed during the interview process.]
