Remote Social Media Manager – Part-Time (Potential Full-Time)
Position Overview
The Social Media Manager will oversee day-to-day posting, content creation, engagement, and scheduling across all major social platforms. This role will require both creative and strategic skills turning raw content into engaging posts, sourcing and clipping videos, interacting with our audience, and connecting with our internal teams to ensure timely and impactful storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Manage posting schedules across all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
Write copy for social media posts that aligns with brand voice
Clip and edit videos into shorter, shareable content
Post content received from internal teams and partners
Call team members to gather stories, updates, and visual content
Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner
Monitor social trends and suggest fresh content ideas
Maintain brand voice and visual consistency
Track engagement and provide basic reporting on performance
Schedule & Compensation
Part-time to start (approximately 20-25 hours/week) with potential to grow into full-time based on performance and organizational needs
Willingness to have a flexible schedule, with a majority of availability needed during core business hours.
