Job Summary

The Herzog Foundation is seeking a seasoned, creative, and detail-oriented Studio Director & Executive Producer to lead operations in our in-house studio and elevate the quality and consistency of our video and audio content. This individual will manage a team of videographers, oversee production workflows, supervise studio equipment and purchases, and provide strategic and creative guidance to on-air talent and podcast hosts. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise—particularly in Unreal Engine and Black Magic Design systems—along with the leadership skills needed to run a fast-paced, high-output production environment. Responsibilities
  • Oversee all day-to-day operations of the Herzog Foundation studio

  • Supervise a team of videographers and coordinate freelance or contract talent as needed

  • Manage the studio production schedule (recurring and one-off content)

  • Provide creative and performance feedback to podcast hosts and video talent

  • Act as lead producer for major video and podcast projects

  • Maintain and manage all studio equipment and infrastructure

  • Approve and oversee all studio-related purchases

  • Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external production requests

  • Maintain strong relationships across the Herzog Foundation Podcast Network

  • Stay current on trends in digital production, studio technology, and media formats

  • Collaborate with the communications, media, and marketing teams

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in studio management, media production, or a similar leadership role

  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine and Blackmagic Design hardware/software is required

  • Strong background in video/audio production from pre- to post-production

  • Experience producing podcasts, interviews, or talk show formats

  • Excellent interpersonal and feedback-giving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Familiarity with live streaming and broadcast workflows is a plus

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
