Job Summary

James A. Sewell and Associates, LLC is seeking a Civil Engineer to design and implement civil infrastructure improvements throughout the Eastern Washington and North Idaho region based in our Newport, Washington office. The selected engineer will have the opportunity to have a vital role in the development of a variety of projects from preliminary planning through final design, construction oversight and construction contract administration. The variety of projects will include municipal drinking water, municipal wastewater, stormwater, and roadways. Candidates should be highly motivated to serve small communities by addressing their needs with excellent communication, teamwork, sound technical expertise, and thoughtful diligence.

Competitive wages and full benefits are offered. The expected wage range is $45-$60 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience. Full-time benefit package includes:

Responsibilities

Design and develop civil engineering plans for infrastructure projects including water systems, roads, and other public works

Perform technical calculations and analyses to ensure designs meet safety standards and regulatory requirements

Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies throughout project lifecycle

Qualifications

▪ Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering Degree from an ABET accredited college is required;

▪ Professional Engineer license in the state of Washington and/or Idaho is required;
