Account Manager: Employer Benefits SolV Independent Insurance Associates
YOUR ROLE'S WHY:
The role of the Account Manager is to serve as a member of the account management team, taking direction from both the account executive and consulting team. In this role you will assist in all aspects of client management, including providing customer service support to SolV clients, plan management, compliance, communication, vendor management, reporting and analytics, and providing employer level support.

Pay & Benefits:
$78-85k salary

YOUR ROLE'S WHAT:
PLAN MANAGEMENT
· Under the direction of the Account Executive, assist with all pre-renewal activities including benchmarking creation, review, and analysis; preparing, communicating, collecting, and analyzing requests for proposal; requesting renewals; providing administrative support throughout pre-renewal process
· Assist with the carrier confirmation process of all plan decisions including written rate confirmations, collection and in-depth review of all carrier or vendor contracts, policy provisions, and materials. Manage the implementation of any new plans or new carriers.
· Working closely with the Account Executive and Consulting team, create and disseminate written communications for clients including, benefit guides and open enrollment materials
· Working closely with the Account Executive and Consulting team, provide open enrollment support by scheduling and facilitating meetings, and creating and presenting open enrollment and new hire presentations
· Provide administrative support for renewal process, including analyzing plan renewals and alternate options, providing internal communication about client decisions, and working with carriers and vendors throughout the renewal process
· Under the direction of the Account Executive and Consulting team, develop, create and maintain comprehensive analytic data and reports for use by assigned clients and the
Consulting team regarding the financial and budgetary restrictions and conditions of applicable benefit programs. Understand and document defined client financial restrictions then create reports and provide datasets which assist with the analysis of information pertinent to those financial restrictions.
· When applicable, provide underwriting services for self-funded plans
· Provide prompt and thorough client support through their decision-making process. Manage client expectations and understanding of time constraints regarding communication, technology, and implementation
· Provide oversight and program management for additional projects such as claims audits, implementation of wellness programs, etc.
ADMINISTRATION
· Schedule, communicate, and attend meetings with SolV team, clients, and vendors. Responsible for thoroughly documenting meeting, including decisions made and next steps
· Provide assigned Account Executive support through updating and maintaining SolV's client project management system
· Responsible for collecting and filing all required carrier and vendor reports needed for each client
COMPLIANCE
· Maintain up to date knowledge regarding all aspects of applicable compliance regulation including, but not limited to ERISA, PPACA, COBRA, CAA, and HIPAA. Maintain intimate knowledge of applicable regulations and provide prompt and thorough responses to assigned client inquiries. Ability to determine accuracy of information using provided resources is expected.
· Responsible for the creation and distribution of all required notices, documents and filings including federal model notices, 5500s, wrap and plan documents to assigned clients. Provide ongoing support regarding the finalization of provided compliance materials to the client and ensure thorough communication regarding applicable due dates and expectations
· Participate in available professional training or educational opportunities, when possible
· Maintain a working understanding of general Human Resources practices and regulations
TECHNOLOGY
· Provide client support for the maintenance and updating of the client's benefit administration site, where applicable
· Educate assigned service team with any changes in carrier and vendor websites and their functionality
