Job Summary

Macha PSM is a young company and we’re growing quickly. We are looking to hire another consultant to

lead process safety consulting projects. In addition to in-house training, official training will include on the job training with our senior consultants and self-study/online training to obtain a RETA

CARO certificate (Refrigerating Engineers and Technicians Association, Certified Assistant Refrigeration

Operator). We would love to have you join our lean and mean team!

Responsibilities

Obtain RETA Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator (CARO) certificate within 4-6 months
Drive and/or fly to facilities to perform process safety consulting for ammonia refrigeration facilities (20-30% travel)
Perform onsite mechanical integrity audits, compliance audits, process hazard analyses, etc.
Write reports for the aforementioned activities
Develop process safety programs and documents for facilities

Qualifications

While experienced individuals are encouraged to apply, we are open to entry level applicants
College degree is not required, but technical bachelor’s and master’s degrees are helpful
Relevant degrees: mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, safety/environmental, etc.
Microsoft Office: proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Google Workspace: proficiency with Gmail, Drive, and Calendar a plus
