We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Controller to oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions. This role will play a key part in our public company compliance, treasury operations, and equity administration. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with the rigor and structure required of a public entity.
Financial Reporting & Accounting
Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
Manage the close process and internal controls to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Oversee external audits and liaise with independent auditors
SEC Reporting & Compliance
Prepare and review SEC filings including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, and proxy statements
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all public disclosures
Manage XBRL tagging and compliance for financial reports
Treasury & Cash Management
Oversee daily cash management, cash forecasting, and banking relationships
Develop treasury strategies to optimize liquidity, yield, and risk
Equity Administration & Cap Table Management
Maintain equity records, including stock options, RSUs, and other awards
Partner with legal and HR on equity grants and reporting
Reconcile equity-related accounts and disclosures
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Manage a small accounting team and coordinate with FP&A, legal, HR, and external advisors
Support strategic initiatives, including M&A diligence, system upgrades, and tax planning
Experience with SEC reporting and public company financial operations
Familiarity with XBRL, equity tracking software, and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.)
Strong technical GAAP knowledge and attention to detail
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
