LUCA is looking for a Tax Manager with exceptional technical expertise and leadership skills to guide our tax practice and deliver outstanding service to our diverse client base.

• Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships (and possibly trusts and nonprofits).

• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.

• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize client benefits.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.

• Monitor budgets, overages, manage billing

• Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

• Review work prepared by junior staff for accuracy and completeness, providing constructive feedback.

• Conduct tax research to resolve complex tax issues and provide accurate and timely advice to clients.

• Prepare technical tax memoranda and documentation to support tax positions and strategies.

• Identify opportunities to improve tax processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Strong research and technical writing skills
