This individual will play a critical role in audience growth, donor engagement, and content distribution, ensuring our messaging reaches and resonates with millions of subscribers. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader with expertise in campaign management, automation, segmentation, deliverability, and analytics.Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead the strategic development of PragerU's email marketing programs to support organizational goals, including audience growth, retention, donations, and content promotion</li><li>Manage email interface system (Iterable), including full delivery schedule and technical management of interface to oversee both the general PragerU and PragerU Kids email schedule</li><li>Oversee campaigns reaching an audience of millions of active subscribers</li><li>Develop and execute email marketing and SMS marketing campaign plans</li><li>Collaborate with paid media, content, and partnerships teams to drive high-quality email and SMS list acquisition.Consistently monitor and optimize campaigns based on best practices, A/B Testing, trends, etc.</li><li>Track and report on metrics for current email marketing/SMS campaigns</li><li>Ensure the marketing message is conveyed clearly and delivered properly to recipients</li><li>Work to understand and improve email deliverability and technical capability to manage the health of our contact lists and the reputation of our domain</li><li>Manage content creation of email products, including establishing and evolving best practices</li><li>Develop and optimize lifecycle communication journeys to engage, retain, and reactivate audiences.</li><li>Leverage marketing technology to automate campaigns where possible while applying customization and personalization</li><li>Ensure compliance with email and SMS regulations (CAN-SPAM, TCPA), maintaining sender reputation and adhering to deliverability best practices</li><li>Lead, manage and mentor one direct report</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Successful Candidates Will Possess:<ul><li>5-7+ years of experience in email marketing with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role</li><li>Must have expertise in direct email marketing and SMS practices</li><li>Deep understanding of segmentation, automation, deliverability, A/B testing, and audience engagement strategies</li><li>Strong knowledge of Excel and HTML, ability to learn technical systems and in-house tools quickly</li><li>Experience with subscription/membership business models strongly preferred</li><li>Highly analytical and data-driven</li><li>Excellent communication, teamwork, and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams</li><li>Strong organizational, leadership, and decision-making abilities, including goals and projection setting, and a proven ability to navigate ambiguity and change</li><li>Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment</li><li>Commitment to PragerU’s mission of promoting American values, freedom, and critical thinking</li></ul>How to Apply: First review our website at www.prageru.com. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data.
