The Grants Pass Gospel Rescue Mission is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Retail Donations Specialist. This role primarily involves driving a large box truck to pick up donations of furniture, clothing, and household items from members of the Grants Pass community for our two thrift stores: Booth Street Thrift Store and Second Chance Thrift Store. Additionally, this individual will provide support to store operations as needed.

This is a full-time position with a schedule that includes weekdays and Saturdays.

• Drive a large box truck to various locations within the Grants Pass community to pick up donated items.

• Safely load and unload furniture donations with the assistance of other team members.

• Provide excellent customer service to donors and represent the Grants Pass Gospel Rescue Mission professionally at all times.

• Assist in sorting, organizing, and pricing donated items at the thrift stores.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the donation pickup truck and thrift store areas.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient store operations.

• Follow proper procedures to open and close the thrift stores as needed.

• Support the Mission's mission and values by actively participating in and promoting Christian principles.

• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.

• Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy furniture items.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Previous experience in driving large vehicles and/or working in a retail environment is preferred but not required.

• Commitment to the Mission's Christian values and willingness to sign the Grants Pass Gospel Rescue Mission statement of faith.
