Industrial ElectricianCoalmont Electrical Development
We are seeking a Lead Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial electrical systems and will be able to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations, as well as proficiency in using various tools and equipment at industrial level voltage.
Test electrical systems using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters
Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring based on job specifications
Understand schematic drawings including Rockwell and Siemens
Populate bill of materials in accordance with drawings and job specifications
Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair PLCs, electrical wiring, and other equipment
Clearly lead and direct subordinates to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring and/or fixtures in strict accordance with all applicable codes
Provide requisitions to Project Manager or Project Coordinator for tools and consumables
Utilize one-shot conduit bender, cable pulling, and feed equipment (wire trigger & wire feeder)
Be responsible for all construction personnel assigned
Report on site daily to Project Manager
Capable of following instructions and working safely
Willingness to learn new skills
Ability to work in a team environment
- Industrial electrical work•5+ years
- Wiring PLCs (Rockwell, Omron, Siemens)•1+ years
- Medium-high voltage cable installations•1+ years
- Reading blueprints•1+ years
- Leadership experience
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations
- Proficiency in electrical tools and equipment
- Ability to travel out of state for 3 consecutive weeks
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
