Position Summary
As Corzic Music's Customer Experience Associate, you'll be the face of our store—engaging customers with warmth and professionalism, supporting instrument sales, and contributing to a positive environment that aligns with our mission, vision and values. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, understands musicians' needs, and thrives in a detail-driven, retail-focused setting. This role is onsite only and reports to the Customer Experience Leader.
Key Results Areas (KRAs)
1. Customer Engagement & Sales Support (40%)
What success looks like: Customers feel genuinely welcomed and supported, resulting in strong satisfaction scores, increased sales, and repeat visits. Customers receive clear and informed guidance regarding our services and products.
What it takes:
Greet all walk-in customers warmly, with hospitality and professionalism
Actively listen to each customer's needs and recommend instruments or services accordingly
Assist parents and students in navigating Step Up program rules and eligible purchases
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product lines (guitars, keyboards, band instruments, etc.)
Coordinate with product and service teams to provide accurate timelines and expectations
Support the in-store sales process from selection to checkout
Follow up with customers when needed to ensure satisfaction or resolve questions
2. Product Readiness & Showroom Excellence (25%)
What success looks like: The retail space is clean, inspiring, and ready for business at all times. Guitars and other instruments are properly tagged, polished, and positioned for display. Product labels and stock are current and accurate.
What it takes:
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually engaging showroom
Regularly wipe down, tune, and check instruments for display readiness
Restock accessories and ensure correct product placement with updated pricing
Create and update signage, shelf tags, and customer education materials as needed
Coordinate with the service department to ensure items are prepped before display
Note and report any damaged or out-of-stock products for action
3. Operational & Administrative Support (20%)
What success looks like: Store operations run smoothly because key behind-the-scenes tasks are completed accurately and on time, with minimal supervision.
What it takes:
Support transactions using Corzic Music's POS and inventory system
Process customer purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately
Record and communicate customer special requests to the appropriate team
Track Step Up transactions and ensure compliance with program guidelines
Monitor stock levels and help request reorders when needed
Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory audits
4. Team Collaboration & Mission Alignment (15%)
What success looks like: The team is unified and collaborative, with Retail Associates proactively supporting one another and embodying Corzic Music's values in all interactions.
Compensation & Work Conditions:
Open positions are part-time and full-time (depending on availability and need)
Onsite position based in Orlando, FL
Scheduling to include some Saturdays, as business needs require
Hourly pay based on experience, with growth opportunity
